Queen Adelaide Society donates 5,500

The Queen Adelaide Society has chosen the Hudson Maher Foundation (HMF) as the fortunate beneficiary of its fundraising efforts for 2006.

The Society presented a fabulously generous 5,500 cheque on 1 November 2006 to assist in the HMF's efforts to support the families of children undergoing life-saving specialist treatment for bone marrow disease.

Queen Adelaide Society members have worked on a voluntary basis to raise funds for children's charities since the Society's establishment in South Australia in 1981. Members donate their earnings to a single charity each year.
