Newlyweds offer Foundation wristbands as bonbonnieres

A generous young Adelaide couple recently decided to break with wedding tradition by substituting Hudson Maher Foundation wristbands for bonbonnieres. Lachlan Ferguson and Shiona McIntosh were married on Saturday 18th November 2006 at the Summer House, Adelaide Botanical Gardens, with reception following at "The Pavilion", Adelaide Oval. Shiona said she and Lachlan took the unique step as a result of wanting to "do something different that would also help others". The inspiring gesture was warmly received by all, with the distinctive green wristbands complementing many a fine suit and frock throughout the night.
